Installation Overview
Prepare the tube end, push the plug on until fully seated, then test at normal pressure. Re-seat if you see any drip.
Preparation
Cut Tubing Square
Use a sharp tube cutter to make a clean, square cut. A square cut helps the seal seat evenly.
Deburr & Clean Ends
Remove burrs and wipe the tube end. Keep the surface round, smooth, and free of dust.
Install
Push to Full Seat
Insert the tube straight into the end plug until it stops. A firm push is needed to pass the internal grip and seal.
Pull Test to Confirm Grip
Gently pull back on the tube. It should not come out. If it moves, push further to seat fully.
Secure Nearby Tubing
Add a nearby mount or clip to remove strain on the plug. This keeps the cap steady under load.
Pressure Test
Bring System to Operating Pressure
Start the pump and reach normal pressure. Watch the plug and nearby joints.
Inspect for Leaks & Re-seat if Needed
If you see a drip, depressurize, remove the tube, recut square, and reinstall. Test again.
