Installation Overview
Prepare the tubing ends, push each end into the fitting until fully seated, then test at normal pressure. If you see a drip, re-seat or recut the end and try again.
Preparation
Cut Tubing Square
Use a sharp tube cutter. Make a clean, square cut to improve sealing and grip.
Deburr & Clean Ends
Remove any burrs or oval spots. Wipe dust and moisture from the tube before insertion.
Install
Push to Full Seat
Insert the tube straight into the elbow until you feel it stop. A firm push is needed to pass the grip ring and seal.
Orientation Check at 90°
Rotate the elbow body to align your run at a true right angle. Keep the tube straight as it enters the fitting.
Pull Test to Confirm Grip
Gently pull back on the tube. It should not slide out. If it moves, push further until fully seated.
Pressure Test
Bring System to Operating Pressure
Start the pump and let the line reach normal pressure. Watch the elbow and nearby joints.
Inspect for Leaks & Re-seat if Needed
If you see a slow drip, depressurize, remove the tube, recut square, and reinstall. Test again.
