Check fittings at the start of each season. If a tube end looks nicked or oval, trim a fresh, square end and reinstall. Keep lines supported so fittings do not carry weight.
Cut the tube ends square, seat to full depth, and test at normal pressure.

Shut off water and relieve pressure. Cut with a sharp tube cutter for clean ends.
Deburr & Clean Ends
Remove burrs. Wipe the tube ends dry so seals seat smoothly.
Push to Full Seat
Insert the tube straight into each side until it bottoms out.
Pull Test to Confirm Grip
Give a gentle pull on both sides. The tube should hold firmly.
Support the Corner
Add a mount near the elbow if the span is long.
Bring System to Operating Pressure
Restore water and power. Let pressure stabilize.
Inspect for Leaks & Re-seat if Needed
Watch the joints. If you see a drip, depressurize, recut square, and re-seat.
